CURB APPEAL PRESENTS:

This past year has been pretty exciting for CURB APPEAL! I couldn't be more happy with the events that have happened over the year. So, naturally I decided to dedicate a year-end roundup post to the top 10 best moments of 2012....

1. CREME DE LA CREME

This post was a hit from the beginning and after many reblogs later, it seemed that it has seen it's heyday  However, fast forward about six months ahead and at the tipping point of the new year, it exploded back onto the scene. It's what I would call, "the mother-load of comebacks.

2. SS // KILO KISH + ASHLEY SEBOK

Kilo what? Ashley who? No doubt a summer favorite, pics of the buzz-worthy rapper and photographer practically exploded on the internet. The best friend duo could almost be sisters separated at birth. Who wouldn't love these talented curly tops?

3. STYLE DOSSIER // MONICA REYES

When I debuted Monica on CURB APPEAL, I don't think anyone knew what hit them. You were shaken, stirred even by this beautiful model citizen. I know you are dying for more and I must say, I am easily swayed. 

4. STYLE DOSSIER // DANIELLE PRESCOD

Danielle is probably one of the most searched people on the web, at least according to my stats. Her name pops up daily with searches ranging from general to just strange. I think it's safe to say that people are quite fascinated by her and why not? The girl is a true gem. 

5. STYLE SHOT // RHAMIER AUGUSTE

The self-proclaimed 'moody art school kid' is blazing a trail of his own amongst young creatives. A menswear blog favorite, Rhamier stirred up quite a frenzy with this post. 

6. STYLE DOSSIER // AZIZA AZIM

Oh Aziza, a girl after my own heart. This girl gets it right every time and you guys loved every second of it. A definite crowd favorite, I can almost assure you this won't be the last you see of her. 

7. STYLE DOSSIER // RAYNA CUMMINGS

I literally had to blink my eyes at how fast Rayna's post was being viewed. Within days, she successfully landed a spot on the 'best of' list. It truly was like magic. 

8. STYLE SHOT // SAADA AHMED

Saada is one of the coolest girls in town. I knew the moment I saw her on Solange Knowles' then Instagram feed, that I needed to photograph her. All I can say is that her pictures were tumbled so fast, I could barely press "publish" before they practically went viral. 

9. MATT ON THE BOWERY

For a single post, this photo of Matt garnered quite a bit of attention on various menswear blogs. I can't say that I blame them. Matt [and crew] is a super-cool guy, with equally cool hair. 

10. AINO JAWO // NYFW FW12

We were all obsessed (myself included) with Aino Jawo of the Swedish pop sensation, Icona Pop. I had no prior knowledge of Ms. Jawo, but as soon as saw her standing outside of the Yigal Azrouel show I went into a frenzy. The haircut, the clothes, the face...just perfect.
